University of Windsor Outreach - Malaysia
Thank you for your interest in the University of Windsor. Windsor is one of the more popular destinations for Malaysian students coming to Canada. This September we had a lot of new students coming from Malaysia. Most are going directly in to degree programs and will live in the university dormitories (you don't have to. You can live off-campus if you want). The best part is - that whatever your needs - the University, its staff and the student community - are very helpful and welcoming.
The University of Windsor recognizes that as an applicant from overseas, you face unusual barriers to accessing our high quality programs. It's a big step to come all the way from Malaysia. As a result our International Outreach Office facilitates and make every effort to assist international students in regards to their applications for admission.

"My biggest transition issue in Canada would be getting used to the currency used here, the taxation system and the conversion of currencies from Canadian Dollar to my local currency. I overcame this by talking to people at the International Student Center, doing some research online, and continuously interacting with Canadians until I got used to the system."
