Windsor Law student elected to provincial legislature
 In March 2008, Manmeet Bhullar, a 28-year-old East Calgary, Alberta native and second-year law student at the University of Windsor, was elected to the provincial legislature representing his home riding of Calgary-Montrose. Bhullar received 35 per cent of the vote and carried the Calgary-Montrose riding by 624 votes.[more]
